The mission of the Chelsea Public Library is to provide community access to educational, cultural,
and recreational resources in a variety of formats and technologies
Our Goals
- Provide a well rounded collection of materials in a variety of formats to meet the needs of the residents of the community
- Provide programs suitable to the needs of the community, recognizing specific needs of different age groups and target population
- Provide a facility to meet the needs of the users of the library.

The Chelsea Public Library has a fun and exciting history. From its humble beginnings on the second floor of a bank, to where it is now, back at the original location, but having taken over the entire building. The library had grown and continues to grow. This is something we are extremely excited about.
